Penthouse for an art collector: 1800 sq. ft.

We created a complex space for both comfortable living and a space to hold a contemporary art collection. The space was converted from its original five bedrooms into two; the penthouse has high ceilings and a 600 sq. ft. main space for dining, as well as white walls for exhibiting paintings. The kitchen is hidden in a separate room behind “invisible” double doors. The en suite bathroom in the master bedroom has a floor to ceiling glass partition. We used eight different types of marble and granite to complement the rich wooden wall panels and wallpapers. The furniture was supplied for the most part by Molteni &Co.
