Main recommendation from the Swedish client was to create a modern, dynamic, yet relaxing interior. We decided do extensive work on the color palette, with reduced contrast, so it could would resemble sharp Scandinavian light, being relaxing and calming but not boring at the same time. As the inspiration for colors we analyzed some space age paintings by Anna Eva Bergman, Norwegian abstract painter fascinated by the intergalactic juxtaposition of dynamism and eternal peace. As the result we developed a particular language mixing some mid century curves and colors with the latest furniture and lightnings. We were lucky enough to find an exquisite stone – quartzite, to be used in the kitchen and living area. Brazilian stone Perla Santana has a very unique grey beige shade and silver/gold natural lines.
